Directions to Impington Swimming Pool

Impington is just north of Cambridge on the B1049 signposted Histon/Impington - here's a overview map, and a more detailed map.

From the A14, head north towards Histon/Impington and take the first big right over the hill, which is just after some pedestrian traffic lights. Head along New Road, passing the Bupa Hospital on your right and a Police Station on your left. The sports centre entrance is on the right and is marked by an opening in a high brick wall next to a gatehouse cottage. Go through this entrance and head left into the car park - the pool is just beyond the carpark.

If you miss the turning to the sports centre, you'll soon see the main college on your right where you can also park - this is a useful overflow carpark when things get busy too.

Directions for Cyclists

Impington is an easy cycle ride from Cambridge, with cycle paths pretty much all the way to Impington. The council have put together a A useful cycling map which shows the route towards Impington up Histon Road and then Cambridge Road before crossing the A14.
